Ryan had Timbaland on the show to shut down some breaking rumours which turned out to be a bit of a non-story — he was upset because he suspected someone he trusted had stolen something from him, and took off in his car to clear his head and decide how to deal with it. Someone called emergency services and it ended up as a possible suicide call story on TMZ.

Dax Holt

Harvey was getting a pedicure (or something) so Ryan spoke with Dax from TMZ about breaking news stories (Lindsay Lohan, a break in at Paris Hilton’s home, Timbaland), plus this video of Ryan taken yesterday in which Ryan didn’t answer questions about American Idol in front of his boss. Victoria Justice

Victoria was, like, on to, like, talk about her show Victorious, which is, like, really popular with kids. She sounds very sweet and had a crazy amount of energy for the time of day! Ryan said the shows on TV sucked when he was in the age group her show’s aimed at. Ryan asked her about her background, graduating school at 16, meeting guys, and skirted the topic of one of his past conquests. Victoria took questions from some of the fans who’d come along and was very friendly and gracious with them.

Taylor Lautner

Ryan is often asked to have Taylor Lautner on his show. The kid who was on the show before anyone had ever heard of him. Unfortunately for Taylor’s fans, he’s not allowed to be on the show because Ryan’s been banned from interviewing him. The Twilight kids seem to attract publicists who make them look like divas. It’s really no great loss to the show, but it’s a shame for his fans. Particularly as Ryan makes teen idols very accessible when he has them in studio.
