On Air with Ryan Seacrest 2010-03-11

Joel McHale

I don’t watch The Soup or Community, but I sorta love Joel and his Ryan mancrush.

Jerry Seinfeld and Tom Papa

Dennis is trying to do what?!

Talking about the show The Marriage Ref led to some great comments from Ryan! “I’d rather slit my wrists and pour vinegar into the wound … and maybe a little salt”

The funniest part of the interview was after Ryan mentioned sitting in the middle of an aisle and wondering whether he could hold out to save having to get out to go for a pee. There’s a whole other issue to consider in aisle etiquette:

ass first or crotch first. What’s worse for you Ryan?

it depends what article has come out about me that week but I generally like to avoid all rubbing of dudes.

Ryan’s Roses

The Roses itself didn’t happen … Ryan thought the whole thing was pointless (good call, Ryan!) … but it did lead to an interesting discussion about panties. My favourite part is when Ellen asked Ryan about buying for different girls.

Ryan also talked about a romantic gesture he made a little while back.

Also on the topic of romance, Ryan talked a little about his latest love … they made it to third base.

Relaxation

A story in the sleaze led to an interesting revelation about Ryan.

Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution

This show got a couple of mentions today. While talking to Joel McHale, Ryan played a clip and Joel sounded shocked at how serious it sounded. Later in the show Ryan read out some email he’s received and when Ellen suggested parents would be willing to contribute a little more to ensure their children had better quality food, Ryan said that he’d learned that the distributors where they were filming for the show actually had the fresh produce in stock but received orders for the processed frozen produce instead. There’s a sneak peek of Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution on ABC on Sunday March 21st at 10pm. This show deserves to do really well.
