Ryan called his mom to talk about an embarrassing moment he’d had while he was back home. He and his mom were shopping for books and decided to have coffee. Ryan’s mom told him not to put his coffee on the shelf because the books would knock the coffee down and spill … you can see already where this is going!
Ryan’s a big boy, so he didn’t listen … and sure enough, the coffee ended up spilling everywhere! Ryan was wondering whether he could get away without telling anyone when he looked up and saw the security cameras and had visions of the footage ending up on TMZ!
Such a cute story that illustrates one of the reasons I love Ryan … not because he’s a klutz who spills his coffee and doesn’t listen to his mother, but because he gets on the radio and tells everyone that he’s a klutz who spills his coffee and doesn’t listen to his mother.
Kim Kardashian
Kim and Ryan joked about Ryan’s appearance on the Kardashian Christmas card, talked about diet foods, and Ryan asked what Kim’s favourite lingerie store is.
American Idol
The show is back on our screens in six days and Ryan watched a couple of episodes last night as he’s doing voiceovers today.
Roger’s back on form
Ryan spoke to Roger to see if he was better today … he sounded more like his normal self, but wasn’t happy when Ryan asked why he was drunk yesterday! Ryan also talked to him about some celebration that’s taking place today. It was kinda difficult to follow the explanation, but it seems to be something to do with the wise men so as it’s the twelfth day of Christmas I’m guessing it’s a local variation celebrating the end of Christmas. Roger was talking about a tradition where they eat a cake, one of which may have a figure in it. The person who finds the figure has to throw a party … though if you’re Roger and you don’t want to throw a party, you might just eat the figure along with the cake!
Suspicious stains
Ryan told another spillage story today which explained away some suspicious-looking stains on his shoes! Apparently he didn’t have a lid for his vanilla protein shake and managed to trip and throw it everywhere, which is why he has vanilla protein shake stains on his shoes. Sure, Ryan, we believe you! Someone really needs to buy that man a Tommee Tippee cup!
Merry Mariah
Cute clip of Mariah Carey trying to accept an award that Ryan played on today’s show. Ryan’s “Nick, get your ass up there and accept for me” was funny.
Electric toothbrush
Ryan has an electric toothbrush … but he doesn’t use it switched on, apparently because batteries are a bit too much for him to deal with when he’s tired … h
Fondue
A guy called Ryan because his girlfriend gave him a fondue set for Christmas and he’s really not impressed … but Ryan’s a fan of fondue!
