On Air with Ryan Seacrest 2009-11-23
Jennifer Lopez
Ryan talked to Jennifer Lopez about her new track, Louboutins, her AMAs performance including the trip. Ryan said it was the best recovery but she joked that the trip was part of the choreography.
Justin Bieber
Ryan talked to Justin about the mall appearance that was cancelled because 10,000 people turned up. He told Ryan that he wanted to go so he didn’t let his fans down, but the police threatened to arrest him and his mom if they turned up — someone in his crew actually got arrested.
Dr Oz
Ryan talked to Dr Oz about Oprah’s show finishing before discussing mammography and breast examinations.
Donnie Osmond and Mya
Ryan talked to the Dancing with the Stars finalists ahead of the show. Ryan called Donnie old, then asked him which part of his body hurts the most … he said muscles he didn’t think he had were hurting. He asked Mya if she had an advantage after getting some perfect scores and asked them about their greatest fears — Donnie’s is dancing and Mya’s is tripping or having a wardrobe malfunction. Ryan quizzed them on their bathroom habits before the show, saying he doesn’t need to pee before Idol until it’s too late and he can’t go.
Pete Carroll
Is this face puffy?
Ryan had some advice for anyone who presents at the AMAs: don’t read your tweets on the way home. Ryan read his, and was not happy with what people were saying! He was about to read out some of the tweets when he noticed Sadao laughing because he’d read them too! Ryan apparently doesn’t realise that anyone can read what people are tweeting … many of his fans probably read more of his tweets than he does ;)
Some of the comments Ryan took exception to:
What do you think Ryan’s done to his face, is that botox or is he just fat?
He looks tired!
Ryan didn’t think he looked puffy … he wasn’t tired … he hasn’t done botox … and now he’s depressed. Best not offer him a cookie though, he’s already worrying about all the food he’s going to eat over Thanksgiving and Christmas!
Ryan’s wrist action
Sometimes Ryan says things that are just an open invitation for selective cropping:
It’s a valid point! Ryan’s friends shouldn’t ask him to do that — they should either do it themselves or pay someone to do it for them. Seriously, can you imagine Ryan at a painting party?
