Ahead of the big game, Ryan wanted to know about David’s preparation, why things are working out better for the team, and his relationship with Landon Donovan. Eventually, Ryan got to the serious issues he really wanted to talk about … whether David still has the beard and whether he should get a tattoo. David said Brad Pitt was the inspiration for the beard and he’d kept it until people started telling him it looked good, but didn’t think Ryan should just go get a tattoo because it needs to mean something. David said that Ryan has a good body! Maybe Ryan would prefer a different Beckham to notice that, but his hard work has obviously paid off so that has to feel good.
