This show
- Ryan announces the MTV Movie Awards Host
- Jamie Kennedy
- Leighton Meester
Guests
Jamie Kennedy
As well as talking to Jamie Kennedy about his relationship with Jennifer Love Hewitt, as reported everywhere this weekend, Ryan asked him about being Ghost Whisperer and confessed to Jamie that he’s tried to watch the show but he’s afraid of seeing a ghost. Jamie said he hasn’t seen a ghost but believes in that stuff and Ryan said he’d be really terrified if he saw one. I took a photograph in a supposedly haunted castle in Wales when I was around seven or eight… when the film was developed, there was a clearly visible shape on the print that looked like a person formed in smoke =:-O
Here’s a clip of Ghost Whisperer for those who haven’t seen the show:
Leighton Meester
Ryan talked to Leighton Meester and read out a few names of the cast and characters in the show and asked her whether they were boys or girls! WTF! Just when we thought he was going to keep it totally random, he disappointed us by asking about the new episode. I guess he had to, but it was funny when he was doing the boys or girls thing. Ryan asked whether the show has become more provocative this season. Leighton said it’s getting more risqué but there are consequences for the actions. Ellen asked about the movie and album which is coming out in the fall.
Whitney Port
Another guest on the show was Whitney Port who Ryan talked to about going to New York. Ryan asked her about the most valuable lesson she’d learning in the city, the best person she met there and whether she’s coming back to LA.
MTV Movie Awards Host
Ryan broke the news that Andy Samberg will be the host of the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.
Ryan’s Hearing Voices
Ryan told a story about being out at dinner and was hearing all these familiar voices around him. One one side Joe Cipriano, the guy who does the voiceovers for The Simpsons commercials, on another is Gordon Ramsey, and he was talking to Ellen’s neighbour Jacqui who’d literally run into Simon Cowell in his rolls. It’s very funny the way he takes off Simon’s accent. I’ve thought a few times before that Ryan sounds like he would be a good mimic.
Sleaze
- Revlon commissioned a survey to find out whether Rihanna, who works for one of their competitors, is good for business
- Kim Kardashian was throwing away money in a club, which made Ryan joke that he’s paying her too much for Keeping up with the Kardashians!
