With Chris Brown and Rihanna both nominated and both due to perform at the Grammy’s, Ryan talked about the rumour that ‘Rihanna wants her boyfriend under her umbrella all the time’ which Ellen said was a ‘nice way of saying she’s clingy’. Ellen explained in the sleaze that Rihanna doesn’t like to be alone and with Chris Brown she wants him around her all the time and never lets him out of her sight. She actually stopped a photo shoot one time to find out where he was and was making frantic calls to him after seeing a photo of him surrounded by girls in a tabloid.
Carrie Underwood was on Ryan’s show ahead of the Grammy’s where she was performing and nominated. She talked about living in Nashville, writing, her new album and picking out a dress for the Grammy’s.
Talking about one of the ‘coolest couples in Hollywood’, Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy, Ryan said they are so much in love they do cute things: “I don’t know what you do with your husband, I know what I do with my …. pillows, but tell me, what do they do with their toothbrushes.” Ellen went on to explain that he lined their toothbrushes up facing each other and wrote messages on the mirror that she could read when the steam cleared, but we were wondering what Ryan’s doing with his pillows and imagining him having a toothbrush sword fight. Ryan is too cute.
Ryan talked to bikini girl about creating so much drama during American Idol and her plans after leaving the show, including being a Victoria’s Secret model and getting $20k to host a party.
Miranda Cosgrove talked about iCarly, her music video, and her crush on Robert Pattinson. Ryan invited the wrath of the fangirls by saying that Rob is a nice guy but he doesn’t have much personality.
Also on the show was Diddy who Ryan asked about making good use of his time, walking through a building looking at his Blackberry the entire time, using his breath as the inspiration for his fragrance and having time for his family.
