Ryan put his special talents to work this morning with a christmas Finish the Lyric. Anyone tuning in would have truly believed he was Gaga. Uncanny.

As we know from Ryan’s Thanksgiving tweets, his family deep fried one turkey and grilled another. They were extra careful with the deep fried turkey, knowing they’re a big cause of house fires, but the fried turkey wasn’t to blame for the flames Ryan saw from the bathroom window.

Fortunately they managed to put the fire out, and from Ryan’s photo it looks like everything worked out well in the end!

Harley has her eye on the prize …

New Year’s Eve, the movie, that is. While it sounds like Ryan might have eaten his own weight in food over the holiday weekend, he needs to stay trim right now because he has press for the movie coming up.

Does Ryan sound a little puffy this morning? He overdid it a little and ended up lying on the floor, in his rubber band pants, because he ate so much he couldn’t sit up.

Timings didn’t quite go according to Ryan’s plan, but it sounds like they had a good time anyway. Now Thanksgiving’s over, it seems they’re hitting christmas head on! Ellen and the girls are preparing a dance routine for their party … let’s hope Sadao’s on hand with the video camera!

It looks like Ryan’s cooking up a storm for Thanksgiving, but let’s hope he makes it through in one piece as he’s already had one little mishap!

We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in the UK, but that doesn’t stop us being thankful for Ryan and his team for keeping us entertained and the many friends we’ve made through this site and twitter. Happy Thanksgiving!

This one speaks for itself … which is lucky, because I’m laughing too much to type. Tears of joy at its beauty, naturally.

Ryan might be all set for Thanksgiving, but he’s also got his christmas decorations up … and planning when he’s going to take them down … and thinking about his new year’s resolution. Slow down RyRy! The Coca-Cola christmas commercial has only just hit TV screens, so there’s a way to go yet.

Do you have any nutmeg … in your purse?

Ryan’s all set for Thanksgiving! He’s got everyone’s tasks scheduled in a color-coded spreadsheet, to make sure they meet their scheduled meal time. Ellen immediately spotted a problem in the spreadsheet … Ryan hadn’t updated when he switched his plans from grilling to frying. Going off the amount of oil in the photo @JulianneHough tweeted out, they’re planning to fry a turkey around the size of Big Bird. No wonder Ryan is worried about fitting into his pants on Friday! Maybe he should set Friday’s dress code as “pants: optional”

Ryan and Ellen are planning their tactics for Black Friday. I’m very disappointed Ryan wasn’t plotting a distraction along the lines of the one to cover the art theft in The Thomas Crown Affair. I thought he had style *le sigh*.

Brits of a certain age, tell me you didn’t start thinking about this old sitcom when Ryan started reeling off the departments …

For non-Brits: it was one of the campest, most innuendo-laden sitcoms of its era, against very stiff competition (oo-er missus).

Ellen can’t keep a secret, but despite her transgression, she thinks Ryan’s worse. Lucky for us, they’re as bad as each other! Ryan said the average length of time women can keep a secret is 32 minutes!

Ryan saw something about a woman who’s the voice of airports all over the world, including New York and Paris. There’s a worldwide gig that Ryan doesn’t have … yet. Maybe he should; it would make waiting around at the airport something to look forward to! Interesting Ryan should mention those two airports in particular; I was wondering over the weekend if he ever got to fly that route via Concorde! It seems Ryan’s been hearing voices all over the place recently, including Siri who’s a guy in the UK version. I thought he sounded a bit like Simon Cowell, then Ryan said he sounded stuck-up and pissy. Oops.

Ryan’s more excited than usual for Thanksgiving and he’s going to be making the brine soon … though he’s not quite sure what he wants it for. One thing he does know, is who will be drinking the Martini.

Ryan’s heard of a new gadget to help couples in long-distance relationships keep in contact … and check up on each other. Though, he has some far better ideas for products: a pillow that kicks you while you’re sleeping or a blanket that elbows you in the face as it pulls itself away.

Ryan was called out today when he said he’s anxious about overeating and gaining weight over the holidays by someone who pointed out he’s thin and beautiful.

Ellen thinks Ryan says these things to get compliments, but he thinks it’s a reaction to being teased about his weight as a kid. Ryan needs to stop obsessing about his body … in fact, he should forget about it altogether and post a photo of himself every day and let us obsess about it for him! Really, it’d be no trouble …

On this morning’s show, Ryan explained what chivalry is … probably not a topic many people are familiar with these days! It seems Ryan’s definition, once he stopped describing a medieval knight, involves etiquette, courtesy and making an effort to make someone feel special.

With just 8 days to go, the Thanksgiving dinner Ryan is hosting is getting smaller as they’re down from around 30 people to 14. Hopefully that’s not because they’ve found out Ryan is cooking, because it really does sound as though he’s got it under control. Even if his mom isn’t quite ready to let him look after everything just yet.

Not only does Ryan know more about haute couture and designer purses than the average man, but the red carpet is a perfect training ground for a career in politics should he ever want to try a new road to world domination. Ryan recognised some of the techniques used by campaigners when they can’t remember who they are or what they stand for: vamping, repeating questions, trying to feel things out when they just don’t know … all things Ryan does when faced with an actor he doesn’t recognise.

It’s been a while, but Ryan proved today that he still has mad skills as Bella with a reading from the next Twilight movie. It was a touching performance; Ryan makes a GREAT emo girl … the chick who plays Bella in the movies had better watch out!

Ryan talked about his trip to Canada over the weekend, and his experience seeing the polar bears.

After shivering and shaking out of the shower this morning, Ryan got a little cosy with his hairdryer.

After top secret TV appearance yesterday, Ellen got some gossip on Ryan from Patrick Muldoon. She’s still holding out on the show details though …

Ryan’s challenge this morning was getting a cup of coffee … and speaking the language of his people.

Ryan talked to a fellow Ryan and his four-year-old son who is having heart surgery today. Along with well wishes from Ryan, and no doubt everybody listening, they’re sending over a ton of toys for the little boy to enjoy as he recovers. Let’s hope all goes well!

Ryan’s trying to find time for his Thanksgiving Planning Meeting, and it sounds like he’s got a lot of mouths to feed!

Ahead of the interview, Ryan was concerned about sorting out which characters were from The Muppet Show, Sesame Street and Fraggle Rock.

Seriously, how great does this movie look … now how about a new Fraggle Rock movie? That Red Fraggle was my kind of Fraggle!

Ryan could totally see himself living back in the days of the Immortals: magical weapons, sleeping on a rock, fighting with his spear … well, maybe not so much, but that So-crates dude? He could definitely have done that!

Ryan has audio of the girls watching videos, and from the sounds he’s hearing, he’s not convinced they’re watching what they claim they’re watching!

This one’s a must listen for Vinny and Ryan as Romeo and Juliet! Forsooth, my heart doth ache to hear fair Juliet speak, her voice brighter than a summer’s day and more beautiful. Alas, ‘tis not to me she speaks…

Ryan was in fine voice this morning, sharing his gift of song … and a little advice for anyone planning a tête-à-tête with the Dalai Lama.

Ryan is full of admiration for the chief of police … and not just because the streets are safer than ever.

Ryan’s obligations led him to talking about a topic that’s not exactly his specialist subject.

Black Friday is just a few weeks away, and Ryan spares a thought for people who work in retail.

It’s time for Ryan’s annual difficulties setting the clocks back an hour … and happiness about the extra hour of sleep. But that’s not all, this year he has a new angle on the clock change!

Ryan has tennis elbow from too much heavy lifting … Ellen turned to Siri to find out what that is exactly, but Siri was having a bit of trouble getting a connection.

It’s a sad day today as Roger from E! Security is leaving the show. He’s been fun to listen to, and who could forget his “Bella! Bella!”? Ryan had too much salt last night, and this morning he was drinking Los Angeles dry. Drinking water first thing in the morning is great for weight loss … 12% more if you’re living on Planet Ryan.

Ryan and Ellen talked about a law that fines owners of dogs who bark too much. Ryan wanted to know how you measure “too much” when it comes to barking … and there are other far more disturbing noises on their street! Gotta love Ryan’s “yelling at the dog” voice!

Ryan was a little short with Ellen when she asked him about today’s quote.

Ryan noticed he had his shirt on inside out while he was driving in traffic … so he flipped it right around at a stop light.

Ryan doesn’t want to lose Thanksgiving, but now Halloween’s gone, everyone’s focussed on Christmas. Looking at the videos from Justin Bieber’s visit to Ryan’s show, I think Ryan might actually be leading the charge to Christmas!

Ryan has a thing or two in common with Johnny Depp …

Something in Ryan’s sheets was tickling his foot.

Ryan’s brought in Halloween candy to trade, but he isn’t letting it go without the right deal!
