Ryan is looking forward to a run through the sprinkler … and Ellen thinks that’s a euphemism.

Ellen is still on a mission to get on Dancing With The Stars, and on today’s radio show they tracked down casting director Deena Katz, who’d already heard that Ellen wanted to be on the show even though she’s been in Europe! Ellen explained that she loves the show, and wants to help the sick children via the Ryan Seacrest Foundation … and surely they can’t refuse to help the sick children! Ryan is already connected with Dancing With The Stars … as Idol and DWTS broadcast from the same studio and used to run into each other on Tuesdays. Deena misses sharing a hallway with American Idol since they switched from Tuesdays. As does Ryan: “I have a lot to owe to that hallway!”

The Ryan Seacrest Foundation’s first Media Center in Atlanta continues to bring great talent to entertain the children.

LMFAO were in studio with Ryan on today’s show, and Ryan took the opportunity to brush up his dancing skills. He’s got the moves! Has he been getting some private tuition?

It’s great to see Ellen receive this accolade! She’s the perfect co-host for Ryan, despite some of the things she has to put up with …

Ellen’s star could be the stepping stone to an opportunity to go on Dancing With The Stars to raise money for charity.

Ryan has a charity … and the Ryan Seacrest Foundation will launch its next Media Center in the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia on July 15th.

It’s already time for American Idol auditions to start again so Ryan’s off to St Louis in a few days. The judges won’t be there for this first round, but Ryan was able to tell us that the judges are Randy, Steven, and … that’s where he stopped. Ryan is hoping Jennifer and her outfits will be back for another season.

Can a guy have female friends once he’s married? Ryan reasons it out in terms of hang time units.

Ryan was just trailing in from the birthday party Friday night … or not! He left too much of a trail over the weekend for anyone to believe that. He was planning to make home fries on Father’s Day, but they went out for brunch instead. There were photos of Ryan and his family leaving Bouchon yesterday.

Ryan went to get coffee with his parents. He said it’s fun because they don’t normally get coffee and his mom asked him the difference between a latte and a cappuccino. They didn’t have a chance to get his dad’s present, so they had to improvise a little.

Looks like Ryan is ‘working in the park’ again … I wonder when we’ll get to see the results!

Apparently chest hair is back in and the guys who work with Ryan are wearing low vee necks and showing off the fuzz. I’m so happy it’s radio and we can’t see that! I wonder if Ryan still has that lawn mower. Ellen said Ryan doesn’t have any much chest hair … but then Ryan had to spoil it by saying he has some now. Still … he’s still the same beautiful person underneath … and there’s always wax.

It wasn’t so long ago that Ryan looked perfect …

Watch out LA … there’s a big party happening tonight! Ryan’s “old school” friends will be at his buddy Tannaz’s birthday party, though Ryan’s dieting so he’s not planning to drink a lot… but we know Ryan knows how to rage!

Ellen’s also going, but she’s getting there early and making an early escape before the trouble starts … or before TMZ gets there.

Clearly Ryan has too much time on his hands now Idol season 10’s finished! He’s had a lot of replies suggesting he takes off his suit. Seems like a good idea …

Ryan had to work for his summer allowance, earning money mowing lawns and taking his girl out to nice restaurants.

Ryan wondered today if he imposed on his sister when he joined her and a date who were having dinner. He was invited to sit down, so he did … through the whole dinner. Later he wondered if she might have asked, but not really meant it.

Keep listening to hear Ryan talk about his love of wet towels … and people saying things they don’t mean.

Ryan called in to Elvis Duran’s radio show when Nicole Scherzinger was on talking about being a judge on The X Factor. Nicole looked delighted to hear his voice, and when asked whether Idol or X Factor has the hottest host said, “Ryan’s pretty hot!” before adding that the ladies do like Steve. Elvis balanced that up saying the guys all prefer Ryan. Ryan doesn’t have a problem wanting The X Factor to do well. Both shows are on Fox and Simon’s an old friend. He’ll definitely be tivoing … to see if the host makes any mistakes.

During the interview, Katie talked about some advice from Ryan that’s included in her book of advice:

“There’s a mantra I’ve lived by throughout my entire career that I think is one of the keys to my success: say ‘yes’, accept the job, agree to that meeting, catch up over a cup of coffee and lend a helping hand. You never know what the future will bring, so always make the best use of the present. I often get teased for having so many jobs and such a busy schedule, but, truthfully, seizing each of these opportunities has led to many others. And remember, you can always say ‘no’ later … or so I’ve heard.”

Katie went on to talk about a friend’s daughter who’s just started as an intern. The girl’s mom advised her to do as Ryan does, and just say yes to everything. Ryan said when he was an intern at the radio station, they asked him to do some really ridiculous stuff. Which, of course, he did!

In essence he told me, “If you come over and host these shows, then we’ll help you, through Comcast, build what you want to build.” He recognized that my goal was to simultaneously build a production company while I was hosting shows. He made that possible from the get-go. We started with the Kardashian franchise. At the time, we didn’t even have any edit bays! We didn’t have anything but one other person in the office and a little bit of office space.

I am really proud of RSF’s [Ryan Seacrest Foundation] first initiative, which is to build broadcast media centers, named The Voice, within pediatric hospitals for children to explore the creative realms of radio, television and new media during treatment. […] It’s amazing, and I feel so fortunate to be able to give a new generation a glimpse of what it’s like working with media and entertaiment. It’s a blast to see and hear all of their ideas and to feel their energy as they work in the studio.

Another important thing at our company is everybody in every job has to think not just down the TV path, but the multimedia path, because things are changing, they’re fluid. I certainly don’t know everything, and I don’t do much of it well, and so you’ve got to have a great team of people who are empowered to make it work.

But we are in the process of two really exciting scripted projects with a partner that we haven’t announced yet but is a major player in that world. So that’s become a priority for us.

Ryan tweeted over the weekend about his trip to Animal ER.

It was his first time, and on the radio this morning he shared a little about his experience, his thoughts on the cost, and a warning about what not to do when you’re going to pee.
