Ryan talks Simon Cowell with Piers Morgan

Piers Morgan was on the radio with Ryan yesterday. After talking about Piers’ interview with Charlie Sheen, their conversation turned to a mutual annoyance friend, Simon Cowell.

Piers is pre-taping an interview with Mr Cowell today, and told Ryan he’s going to ask him how he feels about Idol doing well without him. Ryan thought Piers should open with that question, but he already knows that Simon is very happy for Idol. Ellen said Piers should ask about Simon’s eyebrows, but Piers seems more interested in finding out about the “world’s longest engagement,” prompting Ryan to suggest asking if he’s properly in love. Piers interviewed Simon on UK TV not long after his engagement was announced, so it’ll be interesting to see if any of Simon’s words come back to haunt him, as well as find out if he has anything interesting to say about Ryan and American Idol.
