Social Media Envoy
The Special Envoy for Malaria at the United Nations has announced a group of Social Media Envoys who will use their high profiles within social media networks to raise awareness for malaria control in African countries over the next year.

Each Envoy has promised to make at least one social action per month over the next year to promote the cause. The first organized social action from this group will take place on World Malaria Day, April 25, 2010. Ryan posted a link to the official press release via twitter today:
