KIIS FM Jingle Ball
I went to KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball on Saturday, read more to see the photos I took. It was a fabulous event — well worth a 10,000+ mile round trip!
The (free) Jingle Ball Village outside the venue from 2pm until the doors opened for the main event at 6pm included a stage with live acts including the incredible Allison Iraheta, Gossip Girl Leighton Meester and new girl groups The Stunners and The School Gyrls, plus an outside broadcast from Sisanie, fairground rides, and a mini ice skating rink.
Jingle Ball, hosted by the KIIS FM DJs, included sets from Jay Sean, The Ting Tings, Jason Derulo, LMFAO, 3OH!3, Fabolous, Orianthi, Keri Hilson and Taylor Swift.

Allison Iraheta
The amazing Allison Iraheta! This was definitely my favourite set of the whole event. I can’t remember the name of all the songs she did (I’m still waiting for the CD to be delivered … sore point!), but they included Friday I’ll Be Over You, Cry Baby, Holiday, and Robot Love, which I don’t think I’d heard before but immediately loved.
The Stunners
Performed tracks including Santa Bring My Soldier Home which you can download for free.
The School Gyrls (introduced by Nick Cannon)
Not exactly my thing, but I can definitely see the appeal and I thought one of their tracks (Detention?) was particularly catchy.

Another local band, but who doesn’t love The Ting Tings! I love their music, and their show is visually appealing.

I wasn’t intending to take so many photos, but what else can you do when he removes clothing every few minutes ;)

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this set … really entertaining!
3OH!3
Another hugely entertaining set that I wasn’t expecting to enjoy so much. They didn’t keep still long enough for me to take a decent photo though.

Taylor Swift
Introduced by the sweet-smelling Ryan Seacrest and Ellen K … I investigated my camera’s movie mode during Keri Hilson’s set, so here’s a video clip … also taken without me looking through the camera, but I think it turned out okay.
Getting into this movie mode thing … this one was going quite well until people wanted to get past me during the song so there’s a major camera wobble where I’m waving the camera above everyone’s heads :)
