After a delay where Ryan had to fill, Danny wanted it to be over and Adam just wanted to see Katy Perry, Katy sparked a bit of controversy flashing an Adam Lambert cape at the start of Waking up in Vegas.

The Comedy

Mmmm. No, I think that was it for comedy. Others tried, but I think to be classed as comedy, something has to be funny.
The Homecomings
Danny went home to Milwaukee and I’m gutted that he didn’t visit the Shotz Brewery but it was good to see Jamar again. Kris went back to Conway, taking a little bit of Adam with him (check out the boys’ nail polish) and 20,000 of the town’s 50,000 residents turned out. Adam went back to San Diego where he applied make up to an over-excited news anchor, visited his old theatre group, sang the national anthem at a military base and went back to high school, where a girl, who clearly didn’t get the memo, took her top off.
The Results
Okay, let’s get right to it …. Adam is through!! Kris is too, so Go Go Gokey is Go Go Gone.

The Judges
Simon said “none of us would have predicted this.” I think he needs to polish his crystal ball because most people I spoke to thought Danny had overstayed his welcome by a week or two.
He also said “it’s what we call a big ding dong”. I have no idea what he means by that. Ding Dong Merrily on High? Ding Dong the witch is dead? Ryan said “I didn’t know that’s what we called it!” so I don’t think we can count on him for a translation.
The Prediction
I want to predict an Adam win because I want Adam to win but I think it’s more likely to be Kris unless he really screws up on the night.
