American Idol Final 36
The top 36 will be split into three groups of 12. One group will perform each week for the next three weeks, and American viewers get to vote which three from each group get to go forward. This will be the top male, the top female, plus the contestant with the next highest number of votes. After that will be a ‘Wild Card’ episode where the judges’ favourites from the remaining contestants will compete to get through.
