About us
The Ryan Seacrest Fan Zone is an independent and unofficial fan site free of paid advertising, sponsorship, affiliate deals, etc. Nothing, nichts, nada. We first decided to launch a Ryan Seacrest fan site in August 2008 and the site you see now launched in January 2009 in time for the start of American Idol. We reskinned in July 2009 and we’ve a lot of work to do to get the site to where we want it to be. The site is by fans for fans … we’re just having fun with it.
This site is not affiliated with Ryan Seacrest, his associates, or any other commercial organisation. Ryan Seacrest’s official site can be found at www.ryanseacrest.com.
We love Ryan, and we’re not here to be neutral, so you can expect a bit of bias in our comments … but we’ll try to refrain from posting too many “omg Ryan is teh hawt!!!!” articles. But he is, so no promises. And if he takes his shirt off again, all bets are off. We certainly don’t plan on agreeing with everything he says either (where’s the fun in that?) and if you disagree with us, we’re happy to hear from you. We’ll argue with you too :)
We don’t participate in any link exchange schemes. If we link to a site or article, it’s because we think it’s interesting (or because it has a hot photo of Ryan … we are only human, after all). If you want us to link to your site or article, we’re happy to do so if it’s about Ryan.

If you want to get updates from us on twitter, you can follow @seacrestfanzone. We mainly post links to news articles, retweets about Ryan or one of his shows and occasionally links to posts on this site. We aim to update 3 or 4 times per day, depending on what’s happening in the world of Ryan.
Site design
The design is adapted from a Blogger template called Nite life from blogger-templates. The background is the result of mixing alcohol and Photoshop.
About you
We’re based in the UK, but we get visitors to the site from all around the world. Here’s a snapshot from August 2009.
Darker shading = more visitors, so we get most visitors from the US and the UK, and nobody loves us in Greenland or most of Africa. Visitors from Italy and Finland spent more time on average on the site than visitors from any other country.
